THE GROUNDS
Anyone not having a service or reception at Overnewton Castle is welcome to book the grounds and shoot as many photos as they like within the allocated times. Photo shoots are offered per hour at a cost of $500 for anyone not having a service or reception at Overnewton Castle. This time slot is usually offered strictly between 3-4pm pending other bookings and availability on your requested date. Bookings can be made from 4 months prior to your booking date.

We offer a magnificent venue that can make your dream wedding a reality. For extravagant wedding celebrations, we recommend booking the entire venue utilising the majestic Ballroom and adorning it with florals, table-scapes and lighting. You can choose to have pre dinner drinks and canapes in the stunning Victorian Room making use of the Ballroom as a reception area with dancefloor and, exclusive use of the venue accommodates 150 guests for a sit-down reception or 250 guests for a cocktail event.

Overnewton Castle is the only original Scottish Baronial Castle that is available for Weddings and accommodation experiences in Australia. Built in 1849 it now stands as a prominent heritage building. This Scottish Baronial Style Castle is set amidst 4 acres of private English gardens and makes an elegant backdrop for special events. Completely authentic in its history, architecture and restored original features.
